Suze, we saw a fire in Quartzsite last season. It was a guy's fifth wheel and there was a dog inside, a puppy. It was very traumatic.

Hi there, I’m glad I came across your channel. I had guessed bypass four years ago. It’s been horrible. I lost 50 pounds last year. I gained 20 pounds but every time I eat, it hurts I have not had any success with my surgeon. He’s no longer taking my insurance, I’m afraid of eating because when I do it hurts, I have survived on fruits and vegetables. Can you please keep your channel going? I’m very interested thanks.

Hi Suze, great to see you doing so well! You have inspired me. I've been keto for many years, but I tend to overdo the carbs, so I have gained weight. I've been doing some research on carnivore and decided to give it a go. Looking forward to getting the extra weight off and the health benefits too!

You're doing great! I'm doing not so great. I'm staying the same. But I did go down a clothing size. I can only attribute it to all the mopping I do at work. It's an awesome upper-body workout. I only work 5 hours at the most but it's constant movement with the bending and reaching. Fat and muscle weigh the same but muscle is more compact. Anyway, that's the only way I can explain going from a size 16 to a size 14 without losing a pound. I do need to lose weight though. Seriously! lol

So in one year as of today's weigh-in I have officially lost 34 lbs. I know I could have done better but I'm extremely happy with that and I will take it! Since today is my Carniversary I'm challenging myself to see how many days I can make it. But I have never made it a full 30 days yet without putting some sort of bad carbs into my system. I watch HomesteadHow and I am so proud of Jen Mann! I've watched her struggle for the past year also and she is doing so amazing. She's been such an inspiration to me. So cheer me on and let's see how far I can go! 🎉🎉🎉

Looks good. What brand cooktop do you use?

Been making my bacon this way for a while...love it. No splatter mess and cooks the bacon evenly...essentially deep frying it in it's own grease (I usually add a little bacon fat to the pan to get the cooking [frying] started a little faster)

My new toilet paper holder and paper towel holder are made out of cast iron. I couldn't think of what they were made out of when I was making the video LOL. This video for some reason has taken several days to upload. I actually filmed it last Saturday so sorry for the delay.
